vintage cocktail ring / 1950s jewelry / GRAPESICLE

A large vintage cocktail ring set with a purple glass stone. The setting of the ring is brass with a leaf and flower motif on the shoulders as well as around the stone. The band widens and splits at the shoulders, spanned by a large blossom. The frame around the stone is a dense garland of fern-like leaves, with four leaves curling in at the corners to act as prongs. The glass stone is rectangular and likely foil backed for extra sparkle. The ring is small and probably best suited for a pinkie. Some discoloration to the brass but overall condition is excellent.
