Ladies and gentleman of Etsy: if you have arrived here by way of my Featured Seller article then thank you – I am glad that your small glimpse into my soul has not scared you away for good. Better yet, I hope that by reading my quaint interview you have gotten to know me a bit – in an internet sort of way – and I hope that you now feel like a good friend to me, the sort of good friend that buys many, many lamps from the friends of theirs that happen to have lamp shops on Etsy. Such as this one right here : )
Thanks so much for your visit and your support – Luke Lamp Co. would still just be a scribbled idea in one of my tattered pocket notebooks if it wasn't for all you wonderful folks.

Anyhow this lamp was one of my first. It stands approximately 5" high and is about 4" in diameter. It originally was a telegraph insulator, used probably in the early 1900s, but I think you'll agree that these incredible glass beauties were destined to be lamps.
When turned off (with an inline switch partway down the cord) the lamp is a gorgeous teal blue color; when turned on it glows a beautiful yellow green. The base is rubber so it won't scratch anything and the bulb is included! It is a standard candelabra lamp socket. When lit this lamp provides a beautiful glow that is enough to read by or – my personal favorite use – sets the mood for a romantic dinner or date night : )
Every lamp I create is one of a kind – I will sometimes create a few similar lamps at times when materials permit but with vintage materials that means that no two are ever exactly alike. I will happily create custom orders or custom limited edition lines if you so desire – I will also provide white glove delivery if you live near the NYC or Connecticut area.
Thank you so much for stopping by my shop!
P.S. Please feel free to email me at LukeLampCo [!at] gmail.com with any questions, comments, design suggestions, or criticisms! I have my handy dandy iPhone on me at all times so I will respond to emails and Etsy messages in a prompt fashion.
