Authentic vintage Folkwear pattern, circa 1978. Pattern #204, Missouri River Boatman's Shirt.
"This loosely-fitted knee-length shirt was worn by raftsmen and fur traders on the Missouri, Mississippi and Ohio Rivers in the mid-nineteenth century. It is frequently featured in the painings of George Caleb Bingham."
