**A wonderful note was included with this dress which can be seen in the last image..."Dress in portrait of Mary Stewart Miller by Frank Warner" . She was the wife of John Franklin Miller, mayor of Seattle (1908-1910) and Washington Congressman (1917-1931). A socialite from the early 20th Century.
Condition is good for it"s age. The dress is quite wearable, the fabric is holding up very well throughout, it's just the satin trim at the bottom that seems to be breaking down in a beautiful way. There are some spots, most visible on the back panel of skirt. Also there are some missing snaps on the sash which could easily be replaced.
