:: Rugs from this importer consistently were of tighter weave, better quality dyes, higher detail level, and more diverse in colors than any others. This is the real well-known Crown carpet, not a knock off from the 70's. This early Kerman features a larger crown, which is more ornate and decorative than the later. All colors are vivid throughout, with incredibly soft wool pile with sharp definition.
:: The carpet is in used vintage condition, with a couple of light and small stains on the blue field, some of the fringe missing in a couple of areas as well as some dark spots on some of the fringe which is quite common, and light curling in on the sides. This rug is being sold in as-is condition and may require cleaning at some point down the road.
