The large stone measures 25mm tall by 29.5mm wide by 19.3mm deep. It is extremely clear and a very nice size stone. Could cut into a very large or many beautiful gemstones. Some minor inclusions, but mostly very clear. One side is brown and the rest are all "window" clear. Some natural facets but no termination.
The smaller stone measures 16mm tall x 19mm wide x 13mm thick. It has a natural termination and is clean and clear. A few minor inclusions but also mostly a very clear specimen.
These pieces were mined well over 40 years ago.
It's extremely rare to find a piece the size of the larger stone and they both have great clearity. Nice pieces from Mexico.
Great for faceting or for an rough (uncut) topaz collector.
From an estate of a life long jeweler.
This type of topaz (usually smaller specimens) generally sells for 2 to 4 dollars per ct. These are priced at less than a dollar per ct.
