They have pale blue bases with deep blues and greens melted in and dots and stringer decoration in black placed intricately on them. The dots spread into different patterns as they are melted slowly in the flame. They are cool blues, named after a little town in Alaska.
Four of the nine beads are etched, giving them a lovely and soft tactile feel. The remaining five are beautifully smooth and shiny!
All of the beads are handmade by me, melting glass rods in a flame, in my studio in Scotland. They are then kiln annealed to ensure durability and longevity. They are also thoroughly cleaned of any bead release residue.
They are temporarily strung on a length of satin ribbon.
The beads are (approximately) 18mm round. They have been made on 2mm mandrels.
I am happy to ship worldwide, although please bear in mind shipping outside of the UK can take up to 2 weeks.
