What do you do with solid wood drawers from a 70s era waterbed? You recycle them into little bookshelves, that's what! I originally had six of these little shelves and now only have two. Don't miss out on this pretty piece! The other shelf is shabby chic white and has vintage music pages on the inside shelves (see it in my Etsy shop)

I love the faded script on this recycled drawer shelf. On the top the framed piece says "She has the gift." Inside it says "The Siren holds the key for She has the gift. A shimmer of something. Mysterious. Elusive. Hidden. Tissue and wrappings. Secrets and surprises. The unveiling of the unexpected." PERFECT for the upcycled remake of this wooden drawer!

You Starbucks fans out there will recognize this tissue from their giftware line. It is gorgeous!

This shelf is wood, not plywood or particle board, with a masonite panel on back. The whole piece is strong and sturdy.

This one reminds me of sea and a coastal cottage that has stood in the rain and wind and close to the tides for decades. It also reminds me of a tropical retreat and warm, summery breezes rattling the palms just outside the open windows. Do you have a special vacation memory of the sea and sand? This shelf is a wonderful way to remember and show off your shells, stones, driftwood and sea glass. Add the silvery touches of a small frame or mirror or some special crystal pieces and the display will shine for sure!

If your Christmas style has a beachy vibe, this shelf would look wonderful with starfish, mercury glass, silvery balls and crystal candlesticks!

If you decorate with a coastal style, this shelf is perfect for your bathroom, kitchen or even your craft room. Just think of the possibilities!

I added the central wood shelf and then painted it with shades of turquoise, teal and sky blue acrylic. Glazing in burnt umber went on every edge, seam and corner to give it a beautiful vintage vibe. The tissue came to me wrapping a gift and I knew immediately it was exactly what this shelf needed. It looks wonderfully old and rustic.

The entire piece has been sealed with clear acrylic.

The dimensions are 22" tall x 19 3/4" wide, bottom shelf space 10 1/2" tall, top shelf space 8 1/4" tall. It is 5 1/2" deep. It is sturdy and functional. It stands well and can also be hung on a wall with strong hardware (not included).

This listing is for the shelf only and NOT for the items shown within.
