The pen started out as a piece of 3 inch by 3 inch by 6 inch piece of acrylic. Holes were drilled length-wise and then it was patiently shaped on a lathe. Once the desired shape was achieved it was polished to the brilliant sheen you see here. It measures about 1/2 inch wide by 5 1/2 inches long and uses standard parker refills available at Office max, Office Depot, etc
