I clean the metal of any stains or antiquing, lacquers or protective top coats, sand, develop both sides over a period of a few days with patina solutions, seal in a professional metal lacquer and rub an extra protective coat of wax on top of the lacquer. In spite of their rustic, grungy appearance, these flowers are safe to wear against skin and clothing.
You receive 1 - 2" Large 6 Petal MAUVE Flower in this listing. This is the second to the largest of the flowers and work well as a middle stacker that contrasts with the smaller sized flowers wire-wrapped together. Please allow for variations in your hand treated item as the patinas develop naturally into variegated patterns. This batch of mauve has areas of pink, lighter rose hues, a slight brush of shimmering mica powder and glimmers of the distressed brass metal beneath.
