I remember my mother wearing a wrap dress like this. It was effortless and still chic. She wore it when she might have otherwise worn jeans. This version is reversible and buttons in back, but could also be tied around the neck. Wear it with a t-shirt, dress it up, use it as an art smock, or layer it for Fall. The simple a-line shape and wrap styling make the fit forgiving and easy to wear for girls of any age.

This pattern is suitable for an advanced beginner sewer. It just requires some basic stitching and a couple button holes.

This is a PDF file with detailed instructions and lots of photographs to make it easy to sew an Apron Wrap Dress of your own. The pattern pieces need to be cut out and pieced together before beginning and a guide to putting the pieces together is included in the PDF. The dress requires 1- 1/12 yards of two different fabrics (right side and reverse or lining), 4 buttons and some coordinating thread. It is sized for ages 12 months to 8 years.
