The Ruffled Chemise is simple to make, finished beautifully with a full lining (which makes hemming a breeze), and comes in two versions: with short, inverted box-pleat sleeves and sleeveless. Buttons down the back are a sweet detail but still provide easy on and off.
The Ruffled Chemise comes in sizes Small, Medium and Large. Babies vary so much but I would suggest size Small for 3-6 months (finished dress has a 20” chest), size Medium for 6-12 months (finished dress has a 21” chest), and size Large for 12-18 months (finished dress has a 22” chest).
