The components of this architecturally unique piece — a vintage carousel brooch and antique sweater clip — came together as serendipitously as the structure of this necklace. A slight adjustment in length led to the interesting hanging chain design you see here. I almost gasped as it went from merely big top to really over-the-top! With hints of yellowy silver and gold tone accents, this adornment will make you the main attraction!
Hanging from a vintage gold chain, the brooch features beautiful, dimensional rosettes, a pearly pink enamel flag and 3 tiny saddled horses. The sweater clip has nicely patina'd pearl accents and matching chain. And this necklace just wouldn't be complete without the most adorable carousel horse dangling from the back closure. A tiny treasure to complete your carousel memories.
Necklace measures 19" at it's shortest part and 26" total. Finished with a ring clasp closure.
