I use 100 per cent soy wax in all my candles. The burn time for this 8 oz mason jar is approximately 60-80 hours. They are made, with lead free wicks, always. I use soy dye chips designed for soy wax. And best of all they are always maximum scented, with fragrance oils.
My candles will burn to the bottom of the jar, but for safety reasons it is always best to stop burning when you get to about a 1/4". For a maximum candle burn remember to always let your candle pool over before you blow it out, which may take 2-3 hours. Did you know that Soy Candles of a “memory”. Let me explain, if the candle does not obtain a full melt pool on the first burn, all other melt pools will never surpass the distance of the first melt pool, known as tunneling. And don't forget to trim the wick to a 1/4 of an inch each time you light it.
