I threw this jar on my wheel and sculpted the little mushrooms. The top of the lid was carved to create a small patch of grass for the three little mushrooms to sit on. There is a variety of beautiful earthtones on this jar that work beautifully together. The glazes are Food-safe and the jar is microwave/dishwasher/oven safe;but as all handmade items would prefer the extra care of hand washing. Fired to cone 6 (2232 degrees F). Great to store sugar or spices and other treasures around the house.
Dimensions: approx. 6 1/4" tall(including the mushrooms) 5 1/2" without. 4 1/2" wide, with an opening of 2 3/4" in diameter.
