This lovely boudoir cap was made in the 1920's, to be worn to the breakfast table by the lady of the house, over her un-dressed hair. She may have made it herself; you can find many patterns for boudoir caps in needlework books of the time. This is an especially nice example, in very fine condition and very clean. It's made from very delicate cream-colored netting over pale peach lawn. The edges are trimmed with net in tiny pleats, along with peach silk ribbon. Another row of pleated net and silk ribbon is set back from the edge. This cap is as pristine an example as you are likely to find - there is no deterioration, repairs, stains, or odors.

***I have listed another boudoir cap at this time***
