Sea Captain Shell Gift Box Victorian Vintage Style Young Miss

A heart-shaped paper mache gift box reminiscent of Victorian shell work brought home by sea captains for their wives. The image of the young girl is from my collection of Victorian scrap and I've hand embellished the background. She is surrounded by shells, trim and a bit of gold dresden. The box is trimmed in luminescent pink ribbon and all has been aged. The inside is also finished in a pretty floral toile. Perfect for your love letters or sea memorabilia. The paper mache box with lid measures 6-1/2" tall by 6" wide and is 2-1/2" deep. One of a kind!
