original art, a drawing of a grey tree on green paper in a red frame. quite simple. colored pencil on tinted paper, ships framed. about 5x12". ships ready to hang.

I draw a lot of trees.

Eco-hippies, loggers, everyone loves a tree. For different reasons maybe, but the love is there all the same. Living in Oregon, I see both the tree as a living thing with its own persona, and as material, good for many purposes.

The smell of logging trucks going by my house in the grey mornings is better than the coffee, even. And walking outside into the forest of my back yard is even better, where the trees breathe quietly into the mist.

Living in the forest has a lot to be said for it. http://resonanteye.net/2011/11/06/alsea-oregon/
