This gemstone, “Cherry Creek jasper” is an earthy wonder! The colors are soft and rich, browns, yellows, blues with dramatic patterns including sharp lines and gentle swirls. There are Cherry Creek jasper beads in two shapes, smooth disks (about 20 mm diameter) and rondelles (about 10 by 6 mm). Accents are provided by terracotta matte finish Czech glass and detailed oxidized silver plated spacer beads. Everything is handknotted together in black silk for strength and a nice drape. The necklace, about 21 inches long, closes with a handcrafted by Bonprise fine silver toggle clasp, with an irregular texture that complements the pattern of the beads, and an oxidized, polished finish. It attaches to the necklace with sterling silver fittings.
The matching earrings feature the same stones and beads, with handformed hammered sterling silver serpentine embellishments. They dangle from sterling silver leverback earwires.
