Although not carved in a traditional way, each of the two little pigs are made life like with my signature technique of gluing 3 layers of dimensional lumber shapes together with food safe glue. The shapes are then further refined and shaped with serious sanding. They are then coated with a non toxic sealer, sanded again for smoothness and then painted with certified non toxic water based artist paints that bring the pigs to life. Finally, they are coated with at least three coats of certified non toxic water based sealer so they feel smooth and their paint will be protected.
These sweet piggies resemble real barnyard baby pigs. Each pig is nearly 5 1/2 inches tall to the tip of their ear. They are 6 3/4 inches tail to snout and 2 1/2 inches wide. They are made by me in my studio and are ready to ship.
