vintage Czech necklace / 1930s jewelry / SUGAR MAPLE

A 1930s golden-orange glass necklace. The necklace is unmarked but Eastern European (likely Czech) in style, with five faceted glass stones set in brass. The chain is very delicate, alternating figure-eight and paperclip links down to the feature stones. The stones are oval cut with nuances among the five pieces. All of the glass is hand faceted. The four smaller stones are prong set with open backs. The largest stone is framed in a cast filigree setting with an open back. There are some nicks in the stones but overall condition and appearance is outstanding.
