This stunning dress is the first ever Dig For Victory empire line maxi dress. It combines the bustier style bodice of our Heidi dresses with a long pleated skirt which flares very gently from the fitted underbust for a flattering empire line silhouette. The fitted bodice is made from a vintage gold brocade fabric and the long skirt and gathered bust panel are made from a vintage olive green sari. The sari fabric is light and fluid and we didn’t want to stiffen it by adding a lining so you may wish to wear a slip underneath it. The curved neckline is outlined with gold piping and the gathered bust panel is held in place by a gold ribbon.
