Staffordshire dogs were made in Stafforshire, England from the 1700's-1900. Modeled after the King Charles Cavalier, which was brought to England by Queen Victoria, they became a very popular decorative item. Authentic Staffordshire dogs will fetch a pretty penny, but these are a very fine vintage reproduction. They would look great on a table or mantel in your house, and I can assure you that the royals, including Kate and Wills, still decorate with them today. Make your home an English manor with these dogs or give them as a wedding, shower, or holiday gift!
