Sterling Silver heart ring. Heart shaped infinity knot design.
This sweet little knot ring has a special twist- it's heart shaped!
The infinity knot design is meaningful to many people, and the open interpretation can be varied: a perfect forget-me-knot ring, promise ring, friendship ring[s], sister rings, purity ring or a committment ring. The never ending design shows everlasting love and connection, and as a bonus, it's beautiful!
To make the ring I will handform the knot and then size, cut, solder, smooth, and hand polish the ring. The ring is hammered for strength and form while keeping the original shape of the wire [round], and given an extensive finishing tumble polish for gorgeous shine and added strength, and the ring is ready for wear! I take care to create a seamless ring; you will find only beautiful smooth Silver where the solder line is!
•••CREATION•••: Your ring will be made within a week of purchase [or, in the case that you do not specify a ring size upon purchase, a week within notification of ring size].
•••SIZING•••: Your ring will be custom made in the size you specify upon checkout. I am happy to offer any size, between size 2 and 16, half and quarter sizes included!
Please be sure to include your size in "notes to IndulgentDesigns" [in your cart] upon purchase; if you do not, and I am not able to contact you to clarify within a reasonable timeframe, I will send a size 7.
-->knuckle rings: while the average knuckle ring is two sizes smaller than a regular ring worn on the same finger, it's important that this ring is fitted properly: snug, but comfortable. It's highly advised that you be professionally fitted! [Can be done at a local jewelry or department store, free of charge]
•••MATERIALS•••: Handmade from Sterling Silver, I use a high quality brand of Sterling called Argentium. This is a tarnish resistant Sterling Silver, made from 100% recycled Silver! It's guaranteed to be free of any Nickel, and is a beautiful bright color of Silver with a gorgeous shine.
Argentium is tarnish resistant not only from the addition of Germanium to the mix [instead of some of the copper in the traditional alloy], but also from the higher Silver content [Argentium is 93% Silver, rather than the traditional 92.5%].
Though Argentium is a bit more expensive than traditional Sterling Silver [due to the higher Silver content], I feel the benefits highly worthwhile, and as it's my personal preference to work with and wear, it's what I create all of my Silver metalwork with!
