They look beautiful unlit as well. Use them as a center piece on your dining room table. Add them to a nature table. Float them in a clear bowl with water.
It is recommended that you do not place these candles in water until you are ready to light them. Due to the the small stature of these candles, the actually walnut may burn a bit while lit. This will cause a crackling sound, similar to logs in a fireplace. This is totally normal and part of the charm of these small candles.

As with all candles, please exercise care when lighting them. Never leave candles unattended or in reach of children. Always light these candles in water.
