Sandringham Paisley Cloche

The glowing light of an autumn sunset, saturates the color palette of the Sandringham Paisley Cloche in this homage to my favorite season. The rich butterscotch, wool felt cloche is handblocked over vintage wooden crown and brim blocks, and is accented with a cafe' au lait shade of Russian veiling over the crown for added texture, with a gorgeous bias cut fragment of an authentic wool, Victorian paisley piano shawl as the hatband. The brim is finished with millinery wire to keep a crisp, clean edge. This elegantly simple hat is finished with a generous bloom, which I have gelatin stiffened, heat curled each petal, hand dyed, hand colored, and hand stitched together, one petal at a time. A cockade of naturally molted hackle, and pheasant under belly feathers, peak out from behind the bloom. An heirloom quality classic. A hat you'll feel fabulous wearing, and will reach for again, and again. Avoid wearing in the rain. Please store in a hatbox with the crown stuffed with tissue, when not in use. Use cedar to mothproof. Fits heads to measure 22-23" comfortably.
