Wee Witchy is the SMALLEST witch I have ever made! She is smaller than her Aunt, Wanda Witchy (See pic #3 and #5 for size comparison in my ornament dolls). At slightly less than 5 inches tall, she packs a lot of cuteness into a tiny size!
Now while you might think this makes for easy doll creation, what that means is a lot of teeeny, tiny paintbrushes and being very precise in painting, and this takes quite a bit of time and skill!
First, Wee Witchy was created with on original original, FREE FORM pattern from my own imagination, which is then transferred to fabric.
The fabric is sewn, stuffed, base painted, sanded for a soft texture, then detailed. Each part of Wee Witchy's outfit is painted BY HAND WITHOUT the use of patterns, stencils or any other artistic aid. Since she is already tiny, please note that each detail, including the teensy polka dots, are painstakingly painted with a tiny brush.
She is embellished a pom-pom at the top of her hat, button at the front, as well as a black satin ruffle collar, and she has a button in the back, in case you would like to hang her as an ornament.
Needless to say, this sort of work can take hours, and is reflected in each highly detailed art doll piece I create.
