We have a four-year-old who amazes us everyday.....He's absorbing every bit of information around him......the good and the bad. And in the midst of it all, we are to "train a child up in the way that he should go, And when he is old, he will not depart from it." Proverbs 22:6 So.......as my husband and I attempt to teach our son the ways of the Lord, there are certain things we try to engrave on his heart and in his mind on a daily basis. My little guy, Micah, is the inspiration behind these wood blocks. :)
This listing is for the entire set of 9 blocks. My original sets were created on wood while these are created on 6x6x1.5" wrapped canvases. Two coats of acrylic paint are applied, one contrasting the other, in order to create beautiful, distressed, one of a kind pieces. The lettering is all done in my own handwriting in white. A matte varnish will be applied to protect your blocks for years and years to come.
This would be the perfect baby shower, birthday, or "just because I love you," gift to serve as reminders for our kids and reminders for us that we are our children's first teachers. Let's teach them His ways. Let's teach them how to have a heart for Jesus:)
