Description:
An embroidery I made on my favourite natural (undyed and unbleached) coarse brown linen with wool using bokhara couching stitch and appliquee with navy vintage denim. The motif is from Stockholm coffee set I own made in the 70s by Bavarian Melitta factory. "framed" inside an embroidery hoop, with a little stitching detail along the edge.
A gift for a hard-to-please... Will make a feature a small area, like a hall, landing, nursery, bathroom, kitchen, anywhere there is a small wall area especially if it's catching sunlight to allow the viewer to see the the textures and the contrast between the lighter linen and dark embroidery.
