- on My Way Home, I walked through lush valleys. The sun was setting soon behind me but the air was warm & the birds were chirping. I realized then- there is no better path for me than "On My Way Home"
This listing is for the one-of-a-kind 11x11 art PRINT. The original is a mixed media piece done on canvas that I did called "On My Way Home".
I tore up various sizes & colors of strips of paper & applied them to look like sky & hills/fields. I then used many sprays & acrylic washes to give texture & color depth. After that I hand-painted the foliage in the piece. I then took my original sketch of my Lady & added clothes & hand- painted jewellery & hair to her. I used script paper for her body & once she was on the canvas I did more painting & applied more mixed media techniques to bring her into the piece.
All prints are on flat matte, bright, white paper & perfect for images that do not require gloss. It yields highly saturated images, while maintaining excellent highlight and shadow detail. This paper received a lightfast permanence rating of 76 years under glass and 110 years with UV filter, from the Wilhelm Imaging Research Institute.
