One of the most primary functions of iolite is to stimulate us as spiritual beings and open doors into our consciousness. It will help to awaken that inner knowledge that lies in each of us. Iolite is no also known as cordierite.
Iolite is a powerful crystal for change into a more positive way of being. It helps let go of all the unwanted patterns. It opens a line of communication between the subconscious and conscious.
Placing iolite on your third eye chakra or wearing it will help create visualization. Iolite is a powerful visualization crystal, sometimes referred to as the Shaman's stone. It is sometimes called a water sapphire because of its color, but it is not in the sapphire family at all actually.
Iolite is helpful in healing dis-harmony in relationships.
Iolite is helpful in helping one grow up responsibly.
Iolite is helpful in assisting one to stay in meditation and brings harmony to the inner self which is very helpful in assisting one on not getting distracted while meditating.
It helps one with self-confidence and opens the inner eye or third eye chakra and helps you to see what you need to see to learn the lesson that you need to learn from any given situation. Iolite had a really interesting energy to it as it will softly open your 6TH chakra, giving you insight into issues that were almost too obvious for you to see before.
When you work with iolite it can help in the elimination of debt and facilitate acceptance of responsibility. Iolite is a great stone to help one realize that it is time to grow up and face the music, so to speak. It gently teaches us that we all need responsibilities in our adult life.
Iolite is helpful in gifting us with the knowledge of why we are on the plan at this time.
Physically iolite is helpful in healing headaches, if placed on the third eye.

★ Please Note about Pictures & Sizing

All of our sizes are marked in approximate. It is impossible for us to be 100% perfect 100% of the time. (We are working on the perfect part though ;-) ) if you need the exact size, we will be more then happy to remeasure any of the stones for you, just contact us and let us know which stone you want us to re-measure!
Also note that in the pictures the stones are usually larger then real life, so please look at the measurements to know what the actual size is. Often we to photograph a US quarter with the stones, in most pictures you will see one or part of one to compare with the size of the stone. We like to take close ups so you can see them as easily as possible and we have a professional studio so the pictures are typically clear & slightly larger then actual size pictures, just please note the sizes before purchasing so there is no confusion.
