Some variation in red due to light and dark sides, as well as hand done process of painting the red tones soon after weaving as an effort to cater to more popular demand. As with many village rugs, this carpet is slightly wider on one end than the other. As smaller rugs are created on village looms, the top mounted warps often converge minute amounts as tension tightens making the bottom portion of the carpet slightly wider, and the top slightly narrow. Some low areas of wear, although allover even across.
