Large sized boho brown Tundra bag made from a vintage leather jacket. This leather is pretty incredible. It is soft, glossy, durable, and made from a vintage men's leather jacket which are always my fave as they have the best pockets! There are two front flap pockets that snap closed, and a back black zipper pocket which are great for quick access to keys, lip balm, cell phone, metro card, etc etc. The top aztec pattern on the front and back is made from a navajo blanket in beautiful colors. The bag comes with a cute detachable tassel.
This is a bag that will get you lots of compliments and is great for many uses. It a great bag to tote around your everyday essentials. You could also use this as a laptop bag, book bag, overnight bag, vacation bag, or everyday bag. Make sure you check the measurements first and that it will fit your stuff!
► The bag has a blue denim lining with 2 inside pockets (one patch and one zipper pocket) to keep your small items organized.
► There are two strap length options: 22.5" and 40". Both are detachable. I always like to use the shorter one and have the longer one dangle down. The longer is made using a gorgeous hand-tooled vintage leather belt. It can be worn messenger style. Be sure to check measurements to make sure it'll fit your body type.
► This bag is ONE OF A KIND. Because each bag uses vintage leather, I can only recreate the style with different material. Because of this you are getting a bag that is uniquely yours :)

T H E * P R O C E S S :

► The process of making each bag first starts with sourcing the materials. I visit several different places on a weekly basis to find the right jackets and other materials used to create each bag. Then, the vintage leather jackets are cut apart and pieced together in such a way to salvage great original details in to new Hoakon/Helga bag designs.
► I try to use as many upcycled components as I can in each bag, including the linings, and any exterior fabrics used. Every bag is One-of-a-kind because of the vintage materials used. You may see small imperfections and wearing caused from the original jacket. This is part of the charm of the designs and adds to the fact that your bag has a history previous to you owning it! It's a great way to help to support sustainable approaches.
