Condition: I'm guessing that these gloves have been worn a couple of times, but not more than that as they are in brilliant condition and show little sign of wear.
Size: There is no size marked, but I wear a size 6 1/2 and am able to put my hands in them without problem. As they are arm gloves, here are other measurements: wrist (circumference) 15cm; just below elbow on wide part of arm (circumference) 23 cm; the upper part of the gloves fit a circumference of 27 cm. Note: due to their construction, these gloves will give a bit and will fit somewhat to the hand and arm so these measurements - which are, in fact, measurements of my arm - are only an approximate idea of how the gloves fit. They fit me nicely but there is room for a slightly larger arm.
Length: approximately 59 cm (approximately 23 inches)
Material: I'm not sure what the glove material is though I'm guessing it may be nylon.
Year: I'm not sure, but I would guess this is from the 60's or perhaps the 70's though I really cannot say as I am not an expert in this area. It is possible that they are older, but I prefer to guess on the short side rather than the long side.
History: These gloves, like the rest of the gloves that I will be putting in my Etsy shop have an interesting past. They come from Geneva, Switzerland where they were acquired in the early 80's/late 70's from a villa that was apparently a 'maison de repose' for Parisian ladies of the night!
