Colors include creamy yellows, light pinks, blues, lavender, brown, ivory, gold, red, and some black and whites. Prints include Victorian children playing, teapots, scotty dogs, flowers, leaves, cherries, buckets, toys, cowboys, paisley, American flags, toile, and more. Charming for adults too, not childish. A few of the fabrics are vintage; most are new.
This quilt measures 50" wide x 61" long. Good nap-size or throw. Nice on the back of a sofa, or use as a large wall quilt. It isn't quite long enough to cover a twin bed. But it would be lovely folded at the foot of the bed, or hung on the wall above the bed. Also great on a hammock or porch swing!
Machine pieced and quilted with wavy diagonal lines about 4" apart. See Photo #3. The 1/4" binding is neatly hand-sewn on the back. Quality workmanship. I've been quilting since 1966.
All materials are excellent quality 100% cotton prints. This quilt is new and smooth. If you prefer the softer, slightly puckered look of a vintage quilt, simply wash it on a gentle setting and dry (no heat). Or I'll wash it for you if you prefer. My home is smoke free and pet free.
This quilt has a hanging sleeve on the back, along the top of the quilt. If you want to hang your quilt, simply insert a straight curtain rod (or a dowel) into this tube. Put two nails in the wall that protrude about an inch, then place the rod on the nails. Your quilt will hang nice and flat and straight. You can see this sleeve in Photo #3.
All of my quilts are signed and dated with a label on the back.
