Body is wet-felted from heathery cream and brown-speckled wool. It measures 5" in diameter and 5.5" in height and is perfectly round at the bottom — giving it a fresh, contemporary feel. Trimmed with turquoise and cocoa-colored feathers, matching porcelain bead* charm, and magnetic closure. Interior is a lovely surprise of bright coordinating turquoise wool.

How it was made: Body of purse was entirely handmade by way of two felting stages. I first needle-felted the 2 different colored layers of wool fiber around a form, then wet-felted the body. Once shaped and dried, I cut the form free and added the clasp, accent beads, and feather trim. (*Spatter-glazed porcelain bead is an exclusive item from Sedona, Arizona.)
