To send an extra-special greeting, I embroider a design on felt and then attach the finished design to the front of a standard 4" X 5-1/2" blank greeting card. The recipient can then display the card as-is or frame it. The designs can be used on a variety of fabrics for other projects, too. What about featuring a verse on a pieced pillow or quilted wall-hanging? Or embroidering one pennant of a banner? Oh, the possibilities....
The Thank You design includes Ephesians 1:16, the Thinking of You card is Colossians 1:3, the Get Well Soon pattern features Psalm 30:2 and the Happy Anniversary sentiment is Mark 10:9.
This item includes a cover page with helpful hints and inspiration, the pattern in black and white (without the watermarks shown), a black and white mirror image pattern and color suggestions, all in PDF format. You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader to use these files (downloadable for free at http://www.adobe.com/products/reader). PDF files are easy and fun to transfer or trace for embroidery. Helpful hints for successful transfers are included in the cover page file.
