Abstract Amethyst and Fine Silver Necklace (Item 2209)

This fine silver necklace features a lot of texture and two round amethysts. The pendant measures 1 /12 inches (3/81 cm) wide by 1/2 inch (1.27 cm) high. A dark patina has been applied to the recesses to show off the texture. It hangs from sterling silver figure-8 chain and the total necklace length is approximately 18 inches (45.72 cm). (Item #2209)

Fine silver is pure, solid silver without the copper alloy of sterling silver. It’s 99.9% silver, while sterling is 92.5% silver and 7.5% copper. Fine silver doesn’t tarnish as easily as sterling. Just wipe it off with a soft polishing cloth if the silver begins to look dull to restore a high shine.
