This is an original design, limited edition (second of three) hand-cut papercutting of a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. I designed this papercutting portrait from a photo I took of a cavi that I met at a dog show, and I cut it by hand with an x-acto knife.
This piece is matted to 8"x10". The double mat is rich textured brown and a dull brown umber, the cutting itself is done in a white cold-press watercolor paper, and the background behind the cutting is a mix of pinks, greens, and tan. The watermark is on the photos only, not the actual piece.
