A large, vintage 1930s flower brooch cast in pot metal with rhinestone and painted details. The brooch shows a thistle-like flower in bloom with bright green leaves, a little bud and a tied "ribbon" at the stems. The ribbon is set with rhinestones as is the front of the flower. The rest of the brooch is painted in bright green, orange, pink and red. The coloration is lovely. The brooch might have originally held a "trembler" element inside the flower, as there is certainly space for something there. The piece is still lovely without it. Secures with a pin and "c" catch. Good vintage condition.
