An outstanding Art Deco necklace set with molded glass panels and rhinestones. The glass is a light, apple-green, meant to resemble the chalcedony variety chrysoprase. The entire length of the necklace is set with the glass panels and spaced with square cut, clear rhinestones. The pattern of the molded glass is abstract and geometric, typical of the era. The glass is prong set with and open back in a silvertone setting which is not visible from the front, giving the necklace a very "clean" design. The necklace is in near-mint condition with no visible wear. Secures with a spring ring clasp.
