This is the first work in a series that is inspired by the trees along a walking path that runs along Prickett's Creek in Marion County, WV. There are nine trees (that are labeled, as pictured) along the trail and I will be doing a "portrait" of each one. The first is of the last tree on the trail, the yellow poplar.
