For this challenge we were encouraged to design our own unique twist on any of the spiral techniques. I thought I would work with a color I don't normally reach for and went with lemony butter yellow, complimented with grey. I chose to try a new-to-me spiral for the 7/16" wide twisted ribbon on one side, finished with grey cat's eye beads on each end, and used a doubled corkscrew spiral on the other. In the center are two bead embroidered cat's eye cabochons in oval/grey (30x22mm) and teardrop/yellow (18x15mm). Both cabochons are securely stitched and backed with grey soft suede cloth for comfort against the skin. This necklace measures 20" long and closes with a gunmetal clasp.

Beadweaving is an art that requires much time, attention to detail, and creativity. Often it takes 4-20 hours and hundreds if not thousands of tiny beads to come together in a finished, one-of-a-kind piece. You can see more of my beadwoven items here... www.etsy.com/shop/BlissWorksStudio
