It's important to us that your cuff fit you properly. To measure your wrist, wrap a measuring tape around your wrist, or a piece of paper can be used and then laid next to a ruler to determine the size. If you are interested in a wider cuff be sure to take into account where that will fall on your wrist and measure at the widest part. An appropriately fit wrist cuff will not fall off or rotate fully around your wrist, so we size every half inch. If you don't see your size, let us know and we would be happy to create a custom item for you.
Our finishing process starts with several stages of sanding. We then apply tung oil to each piece. This brings out the grain and color of the wood and helps protect the piece from moisture and wear. When the tung oil is dry, the piece is sanded again. It’s then buffed on a buffing wheel. The piece is then waxed with a microcrystalline wax to protect this finish. We wax each piece several times, hand buffing it between each application.
Please keep in mind this is wood jewelry. We use a finishing process we feel best highlights and protects the natural beauty of the wood, however these pieces should not be exposed to water.
Should your piece show signs of wear, buffing with an old t-shirt or other soft cloth should bring back the shiny glow it started with!
