The design is called 'Nifty Nine Patch" and was a challenge to put together because each of the blocks contain fabric from the blocks next to it.
The border is done in a piano key style and quilted using 80/20 low loft batting. It is quilted using a home sewing machine and 'stich-in-the-ditch" style.
The back is almost as pretty as the front since it was pieced using left over blocks and fabric from the front of the quilt.
