The dress appears to have been commercially made, but has no label. It has a fitted bodice (the front cut on the bias for that flattering V of stripes) with short kimono sleeves. The skirt falls full from small pleats all around. There is a wide center-front tuck and three big wooden buttons with the fabric running through their centers. The real work of fastening goes to the long back covered metal zipper. There is a narrow matching belt with leather tabs and a metal buckle. The dress is not lined.
Condition: Very good, with the buttons showing some discoloration. My best guess is that they had some sort of surface decoration that mostly disappeared in washing. The bottom button has a small crack, but not to worry, there is an extra button sewn inside the skirt of the dress. The buckle's shiny finish is worn and there are a couple of marks on the leather tab. I show these issues in the last photo.
Size: Small to medium by my estimate, about a US size 6 to 8
Bust-37"
Waist-27.5"
Hip-full
Back of neck to waist-15.25"
Waist to hem-25.25"
