This ladies hat is completely constructed by hand. Starting with an original pattern, the buckram foundation is wired and sculpted into shape using traditional millinery techniques. The foundation is lined and covered in a chic purple and black corduroy fabric. The fabric is really unique as the corduroy ridges are interwoven in both purple and black.
The crown of the hat has been sculpted to create a comfortable and relaxed slouch along the sides and top. The brim has been wired and sculpted to turn up, revealing a really great Moroccan pattern inspired fabric on the underside of the brim.
The hat is trimmed with a sumptuous lavender velvet bow that has been crumpled and stitched into shape.
The hat measures approximately 14 inches in length and 13 inches in width. The hat is approximately 5 inches tall. The brim is approximately 3 inches wide.
The headsize is a snug 20 1/2 inches.

To measure your headsize: Use a flexible tape measure to measure around your head at the level you like to wear your hats. This is usually about 3/4 of an inch above the ears or about an inch above the eyebrows, but it depends on your preference. Allow a comfortable amount of flex in the tape measure while measuring. Take care not to pull the measuring tape too tightly; you want to measure a comfortable circumference around your head. Use your head size measurement to compare to the hat measurement in the listing to determine if the hat will fit you comfortably.
