Based on Scott's "The Antiquary" showing Mr. Oldbuck chastising his niece for trying to clean his room.

These obscure and highly detailed antique book plates are great for framing, and are authentic Victorian art that will add unique charm to the Steampunk parlor or historic collection.

This is a photogravure salvaged from a vintage book from 1892 that was no longer viable. Each picture comes with its own protective tissue paper cover which describes in detail the story, and reference information for the image underneath. The back of the page is blank.

The overall size of this piece is approximately 9" x 12".

This item is an antique, over 118 years old, and is sold as-is; please enlarge the pictures to see details. There are no bends or creases in the image, however there may be some minor roughness along the edges and the pages have yellowed or stained. *Note the last image which shows the tissue cover has a small tear in the corner, not touching the text.

You will receive the exact item in the images. It will be shipped in a protective sleeve and cardboard reinforced envelope. There is no additional shipping if it purchased with another item.
