Vintage Victorian Sash Pin Amethyst and Brass

Victorian Sash Pin. This glorious piece is over 100 years old Beautiful amethyst crystal in the middle which is in perfect condition, no cracks,chips or lea bites. The setting is brass finely etched with a scrolled intricate filigree on either side of the stone. Large piece measuring 3 1/4" wide and 2 1/4" high. The closure has a C-clasp and the stick pin is thick which indicates it being a sash pin. I could see using it on a scarf or fur piece also. The only issues are the pin piece has some bends in it. The metal has a few dark paces (no verdigris) For the age of this pin its in very good condition. Any aging adds to the ambiance of the pin.
