This is a handmade barn star made of various homespun material. The pieces were sewn together to give it that old patchwork quilt look. The star has been stuffed with fiberfill and sewn shut. The muslin patch on the front was stained with a mixture of tea and vanilla to make it look aged. It has the words "Merry Christmas" handstitched in black.. It sits atop a rusty metal spring. The spring itself measures approximately 5 inches tall and 3 inches wide. The star measures approximately 11 inches tall and 9 1/2 inches wide. When the star is sitting on top of the spring it will measure about 11 inches tall. You could also remove the star from the spring and use it as an ornament by just adding a string. These prim nodders are perfect to use as a Christmas tree toppers, grapevine tree toppers or just as a shelf sitter. Be sure to check out my many other primitive items for sale.
